Release x 2: New serigraph by Eric Magassa
You're warmly invited to the release of artist Eric Magassa's new artwork as part of "Edition Grafikens Hus". We're taking the opportunity to hold several releases in September: a digital one in the art shop, and one together with the artist at Botkyrka Konsthall, where he is showing the exhibition "Rumble in the Jungle".
Farzaneh Rad wins Call for Print 2026
Grafikens Hus's Call for Print open call has now closed for this year. We are delighted to present the winner, artist Farzaneh Rad. She will print an exclusive graphic edition as part of "Edition Grafikens Hus." The edition is produced at Grafikskolan in Stockholm and will go on sale in our art shop this autumn. Don't miss it!
What is printmaking?
Printmaking is an art form in which the image is created through a process of transfer from one surface to another. In printing techniques such as etching, woodcut, lithography or screen printing, the artist works with a printing plate, stone, canvas or other matrix that is inked and pressed against paper or textile.

Artists in residence: Sissela Nordling Blanco
We are delighted to welcome Sissela Nordling Blanco as artists-in-residence at Grafikens Hus.
Our collection
Since Grafikens Hus was founded in 1996, we have maintained a collection of contemporary printmaking. However, barely 100 works could be saved from the fire in 2014. Our aim is to build our new print collection based on an acquisitions policy that is continuously evaluated.
